Project Bog Turtle's main goals are:

• To support, educate, cooperate with, and involve landowners in bog turtle conservation

• To protect bog turtle habitat through leases, purchases, or easements

• To restore and implement management and restoration strategies in degraded habitat

• To continue surveys to locate new populations and sites

• To monitor and study population densities in selected sites

• To advise, assist, and disseminate information to federal, state, and non-govenrmental conservation agencies.
